Scottish Course to Train Tutors of Lipreading

Visibility's See Hear Project is pleased to offer a six-week course aimed at people living with hearing loss in Dumfries & Galloway.


The course will give participants more insight into their hearing loss, how hearing aids work, their care and maintenance, aids and equipment, coping strategies and deaf awareness and local services that can help.

Each week will also incorporate a lesson from a lip reading tutor. The course will take place over six consecutive weeks and will be delivered alongside colleagues from audiology, sensory services and the Hard of Hearing Group.

Where: Annandale Suite, Cairndale Hotel, Dumfries
When: Tuesday, 12th May for 6 weeks
Time: 1:00pm – 2:30pm
